Hinton Bay Pinot Noir

$60.00

“The 2022 Vintage is true to our classic Hinton Bay Pinot Noir style. The floral nose is alive with a generous display of black cherry and dark berry fruits, producing a wine of intense character and colour.” - David Brown

Tasting Notes

The palate has all the hallmarks of a full bodied Burgundian Pinot which has been appropriately matured in a variety of French oak barrels for up to 12 months. The early palate display of fruit is beautifully complemented by lingering tannins and cool climate acid. This is a bold Pinot reflecting our style over many years.

Winemaker Notes

Our 2018 Pinot Noir is a result of an uncompromising pursuit of excellence where every act of best practise is undertaken from the vineyard to the table. The estate born fruit comes from a perfect blend of 114, 115, MV-6 and 777 clones with each providing its own individual characteristics in perfect harmony and balance. The extremely low yields of intensely flavoured grapes have come from our close planted dry grown block since 1989.

This is a truly handcrafted wine produced from a small family owned vineyard situated on the banks of the Tamar River in Northern Tasmania’s premier wine district.
